I have been making money on Amazon since 2018 as a private label UK seller. Sales have been good all the way up to March 2020 when the lockdown was initiated - at this point Amazon started showing delayed delivery dates for many FBA products.

These delayed delivery dates caused by sales to grind to a halt, my products were showing a delivery date 1 month in the future while at the same time some of my competitors had delivery dates of only a few days.

Thankfully, in the last week, Amazon has equalised the delivery dates for the products I am selling so now all products in these niches have the same delivery dates.

Although sales are still very slow, I hope things will start to slowly pick up as we move through the next 3 weeks and things start to move back towards normality.

To answer the age-old question of "Is Amazon FBA is Dead"? The short answer is No, despite the short term volatility you may find that once things settle back down it could be the perfect time to start an Amazon FBA business. Amazon FBA is still worth it as once the dust settles there should be more opportunities than ever as a number of existing sellers have been forced to close due to current global events.
