How to Install Window 7 on Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro

If you do not want to be tracked what you are doing on your computer from Microsoft with Windows 10, then install Windows 7. How to do it? Follow the steps below and you will have working Windows 7 on your notebook Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro .

STEP 1 – Make a bootable USB flash drive with Windows 7 image ISO file
1) Download Windows 7 Disk images (ISO files) from Microsoft or other place.
2) Do not unzip it
3) Download Windows 7-USB-DVD-tool :
4) Run and install it
5) Insert a USB flash drive on your computer (min 4GB)
6) Launch app, browse and select ISO file with Windows 7 image
7) Select your USB device and begin copying (This will erase all content)

STEP 2 – Add NVMe drivers into USB flash drive
1) Download 64bit Win7 Samsung NVMe drivers v2.3.0.1709 : and unzip it
2) Download Win7-USB3.0-Creator-V3-Win7 : and unzip it
3) Open USB3.0-Creator folder/ USB drivers folder/ x64 folder
4) Open Win7 NVMe drivers folder/ Driver, copy everything from there and paste into a x64 folder in USB3.0 Creator
5) Run ”Installer Creator”, Select bootable USB flash drive from step 1
6) Create bootable image (It will take time, do not interrupt)

STEP 3 – Download necessary drivers for Windows 7
1) Wireless network card :
2) Realtek Network drivers :
3) Bluetooth :
4) Sound :
5) Card Reader Drivers :
6) Chipset-driver :
7) Fingerprint identification :
8) Chipset Management engine :
9) OSD Shortcut key feature display :
10) Millet synchronization Software :
11) Download drivers and unzip it
12) Put another flash drive and copy them into it

STEP 4 – Installing Windows 7
1) Restart and press repeatedly F2 to launch boot menu
2) Under BOOT selet “Legacy” boot mode
3) F10 to save and exit
4) Press F2 again repeatedly to launch boot menu
5) Under BOOT/ Boot Devices Order select flash drive as the first boot device
6) F10 to save and exit
Follow the installation instructions, but you can not continue because the disk is in GPT format.
7) During installation, press simultaneously “Shift”+”Fn”+”F10” to run the Command Prompt
8) Type the following commands followed by “Enter”
List disk
Select disk # (# is number of your disk)
Clean (This will erase the entire disk)
Convert MBR
9) Repeat the installation following the instructions as create partition for system files
10) During the first restart, press F2 repeatedly to launch boot menu
11) Under BOOT/ Boot Devices Order select hard drive as the first boot device
12) F10 to save and exit
13) Set up Windows and you're done

STEP 5 – Install the drivers for Windows 7
1) After completing the installation and setup up, Insert the flash drive with drivers from step 3
2) Copy them to your computer
3) Install them one by one, then restart
4) Once you have Internet access you can run DriverPack Solution Online v.17: to get more drivers for your system.
5) Done and Enjoy
Also you can use “USB 2.0 to Fast Ethernet” adapter for fast cable internet.
