Using CANVA and why I DON'T RECOMMEND it to NEW DESIGNERS
Last week, I worked on a series of poster templates for all the hot-deskers at the co-working space I currently use. To save me some time and work, I used the free tool Canva, so everyone could use it and put their own images and copy. I was surprised by the number of templates available, and how good they are. I agree it is an amazing tool for anyone who needs a quick fix and knows what they are after, however, I do not recommend graphic designers who are starting out to use this tool! It is good as inspiration and maybe to try things quickly, but there are much better and powerful tools for us to use! :)
I really hope I have been able to bring my point across.
Let me know in the comments if you are documenting your journey somehow (video, blogs, podcasts, photographs...) and I'll check it out!
Thank you for watching,
