eBay fee: 10%. This fee is variable depending on your status, store subscription, and listing category. Some of my listings are about 8.23%. I'm okay with figuring for 10%. Extra money left over at the end of the month? Okay!
PayPal fee: 3.4% of the transaction, plus $.30 per transaction. The only way this fee changes is if you are selling tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars worth per month!
Don't forget to calculate what your item costs to ship, plus what you paid for the item.
Formula: Sale price(including shipping if you charged it) x .866 - .30 - item cost(yours) - shipping cost(yours) - any additional costs (packing materials, gas, etc...)
